This study is focused on the Implementation of Cooperative Learning Models by the Teacher at the Fisrt Grade Studentsof MTs N Model Samarinda in Academic year of 2015/2016. The purposes of this study were to find out the kinds of Cooperative Learning model used by the teacher and its implementation in the classroom.
This research was conducted at VII grade in MTs N Model Samarinda. This research is Qualitative design. The researcher used five steps to collecting the data: (1) prepared notes to record any any interaction that showed teaching process (2) conducted interview with English teacher (3) recorded all expanation from the interview about what kinds of Cooperative Learning models usually used and how its implementation (4) collected the data from interview and (5) collected the data from observation . The research subjects of this research was an English teacher of MTs N Model Samarinda who teach at grade VII-5 with 33 students.
The result revealed that an English teachertended to used the Cooperative Learning models in the classroom at first grade Students of MTs N Model Samarinda. Those models were Think Pair Share and Numbered Head Together. Eventhough from the result of interview Think Pair Share was not mentioned by the teacher, but from the observation, teacher had implemented it. From the implementation in the classroom, almost all steps of Think Pair Share and Numbered Head Together have been implemented properly and suitable
