This research is to know how strong The Influence of Investment (X1) andPopulation ( X2) to Gross Domestic Regional Product ( Y1) and Saving (Y2) in Samarinda. As for analysis tool used multiple regression and single regression.
From result research which have been done, Investment and Population have strong influence to Gross Domestic Regional Product. Its evidenced withvalue of R was 0,990. Then Rvalue was 0,980, it’s mean that Investment andPopulation could explain variation or change of Gross Domestic Regional Productin Samarinda was 98 %, and the rest was 2 % explained of variabel outsideresearch.
This research showing too that Investment and Population together couldinfluencing Gross Domestic Regional Product from result of F test shown withvalue F = 334,534 > F= 3,74. Because value of Fwas bigger from F , hence H refused and accepting H
. Therefore conclusive the hypothesis that have told was accepted.
But, at next hypothesis which Investment was most dominant influencing variable to Gross Domestic Regional Product and Social Saving, from result ofthe research the hypothesis was refused. As for result research, it’s proved fromstandardized coefficients value at Investasi variable was 0,412. At this research,the variable which told as most dominant influence variabel to Gross Domestic Regional Product variable was Population variable with standardized coefficients value equal to 0,600.
Then, Gross Domestic Regional Product explained that it’s could influencing Saving variable with value of R was 0,963. Whereas for Rvalue 0,927 was meaning Gross Domestic Regional Product could influencing Saving equal to 92,7 %, and the rest 7,3 % explained of variable outside the resarch. It’s mean the hypothesis that have told was accepted.
