NOVA SONDANG MARIANA SILITONGA, financial ratio analysis as measuring instrument for financial performance of PT Dirgantara Air Service Samarinda supervised by Mr. Drs. H. Hamid Bone, M.Si, Ak and Mrs. Isna Yuningsih, SE, MM, Ak.
“Based on financial ratio analysis (ROI), do the financial performance of PT Dirgantara Air Service on 2006 has decrease if its compared with financial performance on 2004-2005?”. Aimed of this research is to know the financial ratio (ROI) level which used by company as decision making base for operational continuity and company progress.
According to the research problem writer made a hypotesis that based onReturn On Investment on 2006, financial performance has decrease comparedwith Return On Investment on 2004 and 2005. Data analyzing used in thisresearch is Du Pont financial analysis. Du Pont financial analysis is a quantitativeanalysis by comparing income statement and balance sheet elements integrativelybased on Du Pont scheme.
From analysis result know that financial performance (ROI) has decreasefrom 2,29% on 2005 become -6,84% on 2006. Net Profit Margin decrease from1,5% on 2005 become -4,2% on 2006 while Total Assets Turnover has increasefrom 1,53 times on 2005 become 1,63 times on 2006.
Based on decreasing of total assets turnover concluded that companyability to used total assets is inefficient. This make financial performance (ROI) ofPT Dirgantara Air Service decrease.
