The objective of the study is to identify how the imageries used in song lyrics of Fran Vasilić’s Album Retrovizor (2020). This study is focused on stylistics features, limited on imagery used theory Laurence Perrine. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods, and used a stylistics approach. The analysis of this research involves data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The researcher has found 13 visual imagery, 1 auditory, 1 olfactory, 1 gustatory, 3 tactile, 9 organic, 3 spatial, 11 kinesthetic, and 8 temporal in the album of Retrovizor (2020). The benefit for language studies is that it allows researchers to more deeply understand how imagery and language styles are used in a broader context than just their impact on listeners. This study not only provides deep insight into linguistic creativity in the art of music, but also reveals how music is able to express the complexity of human emotions and experiences in a unique and profound way.
