This research aims to describe the role of tutors in increasing learning motivation for residents studying package B at SPNF SKB Samarinda City. The subject of this research was obtained from the results of data collection in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. This research uses descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this research uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that: 1) The role of the tutor as a demonstrator in increasing learning motivation for the package B equality education program at SPNF SKB Samarinda City for learning residents has fulfilled the role as a demonstrator in providing materials. 2) The role of the tutor as a class manager in increasing learning motivation for the package B equivalency education program at SPNF SKB Samarinda City for learning residents has fulfilled the role as a class manager in providing effective teaching and learning. 3) The role of the tutor as a mediator and facilitator in increasing learning motivation for the education program Package B equality in the SPNF SKB Samarinda City for learning residents has fulfilled the role of mediator and facilitator in providing comfortable media and facilities. 4) The role of the tutor as an evaluator in increasing learning motivation for the Package B equality education program at SPNF SKB Samarinda City for learning residents has fulfilled the role as an evaluator in providing evaluations.
