This research aims to identify the women's language features of Jessica Watson utterances based on Lakoff's theory and to identify language functions served by women's language features of Jessica Watson based on Jakobson's theory. This research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative research. From ten features of women's language, the researcher found nine features used by Jessica Watson in True Spirit film. They are lexical hedges or fillers, tag questions, rising intonations on declaratives, empty adjectives, hypercorrect grammar, intensifiers, super polite forms, avoidance of strong swear words, and emphatic stress. The first frequent women’s language features used by Jessica is lexical hedges or fillers, and the second frequent women's language features that Jessica used is intensifiers. Meanwhile, precise color terms did not occur in this research because Jessica used basic name color in her utterances to say the color. Then, there are language functions served by women's language features by Jessica Watson's utterance in True Spirit Film. They are expressive function, directive function, and poetic function. Jessica used expressive function to express her feelings such as, being unsure, gratitude, enthusiasm and optimism. Jessica used a directive function because it contains commands and requests. The purpose of Jessica using poetic function is to imply language that contains an impression message.
