2008. The Effect of N and P Fertilizer on The Growth and Yield of Onion (Allium
cepa var. Ascalonicum L.) Supervised by Riyanto and Amjaya.
The aim of this research is to know the dose of N and P fertilizer which
distributed the best growth and yield for onion plant.
The experiment was conducted from July to September 2008, at the back
of Agriculture faculty OEFC laboratory, Mulawarman University.
The experiment was arranged in Randomized Complete Design (RBD)
which constitute single factorial analysis, consist of six levels with 10 times
replication, the treatment consist of:

The result of research showed that the effect of variable was significantly
different on all of experiment variable except age of budding, plant height at 15
and 30 days of age after planting, and numbers of leaves at 15 days of age after
planting.
The best yield was achieved from weight of consume harvest tuber on the
treatment of P1 (1,07 g N polybag

+ 2,68 g P polybag) i.e. 31,62 P1 polybag
