This study sought to investigate how implementation, difficulties, and solution that were employed in online assessment using the ZYA CBT Online Exam Application. Qualitative research with case study was the method for this study and interviews and observation were the instruments used to collect the data, with within methodological triangulation were employed to triangulate the data. Three EFL teachers in a junior high school were asked for their opinions through interview. The research found that during the preparation, the teachers created questions based on lesson plan and input the test into the application. For the implementation, the teachers administered the exams by sharing links. Last, the teacher determined the score based on the assessment rubric. Cost savings, easy scoring, and time savings were reported as the advantages which made online assessment using this application became relevant to nowadays. Difficulties that were discovered included teacher input of tests, student problems like not reading questions and cheating, and technological problems like lost signals and lowbattery devices. Solutions that were discovered included providing computers to students, supervising examinations, counselling them on device preparedness, and enticing parents to assist. To deal with their own difficulties, teachers often turned to self-study and peer tutoring.
