Sociolinguistics examines the relationship between language and society, and the way language is used in different social contexts, as well as the use of language styles. Language style refers to various ways of using language in different contexts, including formal and informal language use. This research aims to analyze the language style used by Lance Sterling in the film Spies in Disguise. The researcher uses the theory of language style proposed by Martin Joos who classifies language styles into five styles, namely frozen style, formal style, consultative style, casual style and intimate style. This research uses qualitative descriptive research as its method and a sociolinguistic approach. In collecting data, the researcher watched and read both film and its transcript, marked the data related, and then captured the data based on theory. The researcher found several styles including formal style 11 data, consultative style 23 data, casual style 30 data and intimate style 8 data. The researcher found that casual styles such as slang and ellipsis were the most dominant language styles used by Lance Sterling as the main character. This can be seen where Lance communicates more often with his friends who have close relationships, therefore he uses casual styles, slang and ellipsis. This also caused Lance was difficult to achieve his goals because of misunderstanding when he frequently used wrong Language style when talking to people he did not have close relationship, for instance his enemies so it made the enemies wanted to hurt him.
