This research focuses on analyzing the representation of liberal feminism through a character named Rhaenyra Targaryen in a series entitled House of The Dragon which was released in 2022. The analysis used the liberal feminism theory of Rosemarie Tong’s book. The researcher used a feminist approach and qualitative method, analyzing scenes and dialogue of the main protagonist, Rhaenyra. The data will be processed by examining her characterization in several ways. The conflict that surrounds Rhaenyra is a balance between internal and external conflict. The result of this study indicates that Rhaenyra’s personality is represented in four forms of liberal feminism namely equal education, equal liberty, the suffrage, and equal rights. All four forms are shown through the characterization of Rhaenyra and the conflict that surrounds her by her commitment to supporting equal education by defying societal norms to gain knowledge, inadvertently creating a facility that promotes gender equality. Supporting the principle of equal liberty by defending women's autonomy to make choices regarding their bodies, careers, and personal lives without facing discrimination based on their gender. Having to suffer and then experiencing breakthroughs caused by reaching low points in life that propel her forward to fight for equality. She is determined to assert her own rights and advocate for legislative changes that would benefit women, inspiring others to strive for equality and empowerment, and her efforts to create a new order that supports women's rights and eliminates gender discrimination.
