This study examines the representation of liberal feminism in a character named Princess in the film The Princess, which was released in 2022. The analysis based on of Rosemarie Tong’s liberal feminism theory from her book. This research was conducted using a feminism approach and a qualitative method. The data are presented in the form of a scene and dialogue from Princess, the film’s main protagonist. The findings of this study show that Princess personality is seen in four forms of liberal feminism: equal education, equal liberty, suffrage, and equal rights. Princess demonstrates four forms of support of equal education by defending women’s rights to make decisions about their bodies, careers, and personal life without facing prejudice based on gender. Suffering, followed by breakthroughs as a result of reaching low moments in life, drives her forward in her battle for equality. Her drive to assert her own rights and effort for legislative changes that would benefit women, her efforts to establish a new order that protect women’s rights and removes gender discrimination.
