This study focused on the representation of dysphemism used by the main character in the Cruella (2021) film. This study uses the theory of dysphemism by Allan and Burridge to analyze source data from utterances and dialogues by Estella and Mrs. Baroness the main characters in the Cruella (2021) film. The research method used in this research is qualitative descriptive which focuses on the interpretation of the theory used using a sociolinguistic approach. Thus, the researcher found that the film contained three types of dysphemism used by Estella and Mrs. Baroness as the main characters. Three types of dysphemism were found, including dysphemistic nickname, euphemistic dysphemism, and dysphemistic euphemism. In this film, researcher found fifteen pieces of data, and the more prevalent type of dysphemism used is euphemistic dysphemism because Estella and Mrs. Baroness have arrogant and rude attributes that are also supported by this film criminal genre.
