AlBERTO SITINJAK. Faculty of Agryculture, Mulawarman University, 2008. The effect of cow manure and saputra nutrient on the Growth and Yield of Kale (Brassica oleraceae var achepala DC.), (supervisied by A. Samad Ramayana and Sadaruddin).
The experiment was conducted in Samarinda from April to June 2007. The purpose of the experiment was to determine the effect of cow manure and saputra nutrient on the growth and yield of kale.
The experiment using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with factorial experiment 3 X 4 in three replication. The first factor was cow manure, which were: 0 (p0), 3 (p1), 6 (p2) and 9 (p3) Mg Ha-1. The second factor was saputra nutrient s0 (without Saputra Nutrient); s (1 meal spoon powder + 3 eat spoons Liquid + 3 L water); s21 (1 meal spoon powder + 3 eat spoons Liquid + 5 L water).
The result of the experiment showed that cow manure did not significantly affect the height of plants on 17 and 24 days after planting and number of leaves on 17, 24 and 31 (DAP). But sinificantly diverse in the height of 31 (DAP), in the width of leaves and fresh weight of plant on harvest time.
The effect of saputra nutrient gave insignificant differences in all variables except to the width of leaves at harvest time which showed different result, where as the interaction of cow manure and saputra nutrient gave insignificant effect to all of research variables.
