ENGLISH DEPARTMENT STUDENTS' PERCEPTION TOWARDS BLENDED LEARNING POST COVID-19

This study was conducted to discover the English Department Students’ perceptions towards Blended learning post-COVID-19 and to know the problems the English Department Eighth Semester students faced in experiencing blended learning during post-COVID-19. This study used a descriptive quantitative research approach by using questionnaires. The sample of this study was the Eighth-semester students in the English Department at Mulawarman University, with a total of 78 students. To gather the data questionnaires were given. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The first finding showed that English Students’ perception was in a positive category, with a percentage of 85%. It indicated that the Eighth-semester students agreed that Blended learning offers accessibility, user-friendly features, comprehensive materials, clear procedures, objectives, and clear instructions, making it accessible anytime. The second finding showed that the problems faced by most students are they prefer printed material, online learning is challenging for them to follow, they felt socially isolated while online, online learning is less effective for them, and always experience technical problems. An enormous scope is better for future research to get better results.Future research should explore the connection between perceptions and learning objectives and identify beneficial issues or media for blended learning. The study emphasizes the need to improve accessibility, technological support, and instructional strategies in blended learning initiatives in the English Department at Mulawarman University.
