This research deals with analyzing the tripartite role of the psyche in a character namely Alice Klieg in a film entitled Welcome to Me which was released in 2014. The aim of the research is to investigate Alice Klieg’s tripartitepsyche portrayed in Welcome to Me by Eliot Laurence. The research uses the theory of Sigmund Freud that deals with examination of human behavior. The type of this research uses a qualitative methodology and psychological approach. The data was collected by the phrases, sentences, scenes, and dialogues of the main character. The main character in the film is Alice Klieg, Alice Klieg who has abnormal behavior. Alice Klieg often cried uncontrollably to trivial incidents and she behaved unusually sexually in the person she just knew. This condition is not necessarily appropriate in every situation. The result of this research indicates that Alice Klieg tripartite psyche is represented in three parts, the id, the ego and the superego, the id of Alice Klieg was greedy, irrational, unethical, immoral, illogical, and uncontrollable depicted in the film. On the other hand the ego portrayal of Alice Klieg shown by how she controlled her revenge impulses into a more realistic one with her decision-making to follow some advice from her doctor, mother and people around her. Alice Klieg finally realized her mistake and tried to make things right.
