Eva Febriani Sulistiani, Analysis Determination of Working Capital Requirements at PT Sepatu Bata Tbk (BATA). The 1st supervisor is Mrs. Hj. Nurita Affan and the 2nd supervisor is Mr. Raden Priyo Utomo.
The research problem is how many working capital is needed by PT Sepatu Bata Tbk (BATA) in 2015 to financing corporate’s operational cost by increasing it’s sales target up to 25%.
From the research problem above, the purpose of this research is to investigate ad determine the working capital requirements of PT Sepatu Bata Tbk (BATA) in 2015 and financing the corporate’s operational cost.
The working capital turnover method is one of the analysis tools that was calculated with several stages. The 1st stage calculates the average of each element of working capital. The 2nd stage calculates the element rotation of working capital. The 3nd stage calculates dependent’s period of each element working capital. The 4nd stage calculates the dependent of working capital. The 5nd stage calculates speed of working capital turnover. The 6nd stage calculates working capital requirements. This analysis tools used to determine the need for working capital.
Based on the analysis, in 2015 the working capital that is needed is 550,615,442,686 rupias while the available working capital just 462,719,756,000 rupias. These data can be interpreted that the corporate’s working capital has deficiency amounted to 87,895,686,686 rupias. Therefore, the available working capital is not enough to cover the working capital requirements for running the corporate’s operations in 2015.
