TECHNOLOGICAL, PEDAGOGICAL, AND CONTENT KNOWLEDGE (TPACK) PERCEPTIONS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHERS IN SAMARINDA
Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) competency is a relevant competency that a teacher must have in line with the industrial revolution 4.0 era which makes technology and data unlimited. This research aims to find out how the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) Perceptions of Junior High School English Teachers in Samarinda are and the differences based on gender, age and teaching experience. The subjects of this research were 42 English teachers who taught at Samarinda Middle School in Samarinda. This research uses the TPACK perception questionnaire as a research instrument. The data obtained in this research was processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 23. The results of this research are that overall the perception of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) of junior high school English teachers in Samarinda is in the high category, which means their perception of TPACK competency is sufficient both with the CK component which has the highest percentage score of 77.98% and the lowest is TPK with a percentage score of 70.11%. Based on the results of the independent sample T-test, there is no difference in the TPACK perceptions of English teachers in Samarinda based on the demographic factors of gender, age and teaching experience.
