English is a compulsory subject for all students in Indonesia and has regulated to be followed by all educational implementers, including students with special needs. This study aims to describe how the process of learning English takes place for Student with special needs, as well as looking at the learning problems that occur as well as how the teacher solves them. This research is a case study to research phenomena at SMALB Pembina Samarinda who have 1 to 2 hours to study English in class. The data was collected by observation and interviews. The participants in this study were two class teachers at SMALB Pembina Samarinda who taught Autism students with an age range of 19 - 23 years with a total of only 2 - 8 students. The results of the research on the English learning process for autistic students were broken down into three stages, namely the initial activity, core activity and the closing activity of the three stages the researcher found two things that were in the spotlight, namely the existence of routine activities in the form of physical touch called "Timung" as well as the use of learning media in the form of practice questions every lesson will end. While the problems that occur in the learning process are the difficulty of compiling lesson plans, choosing suitable learning media and students' social interactions. In order to overcome this problem, the teacher modifies the material as well as the media that will be used and provides assistance to students when carrying out their social interactions.
