A group work discussion is an activity in which a group of people gets together to share their solutions to a problem. In this study, two research questions are highlighted: 1) How the student’s perception of group work discussion 2) What student’s difficulties of group work the objectives of this study are: 1) To find out the student perceptions of group work discussions. 2) To find out what is student difficulties in group work. This research adopts a qualitative research design, utilizing interviews and observation. Rather than determining cause and effect, qualitative research provides an insight into a situation or phenomenon that tells the story. This study uses case study as research design. Case studies are a type of inquiry design that can be found in a variety of fields, including evaluation. The participants who were interviewed were 3 students. 3 students were selected from their high grades in class The Result is student has a unique understanding of what group work is, how they feel about it, and how they think about it. When students work in groups, they encounter additional hurdles. Student interviews suggested that group activities, particularly among members of the same group, can create relationships. The most frequently noted disadvantage of group work is the presence of individuals who only engage in the group while making no constructive contributions. Students suggested that group assignments be allocated more evenly, rather than having some groups focus on simple content while others focus on challenging material.
