Advisors: (1) Dr. Yuni Utami Asih, M.Pd and (2) Dian Anggriyani, M.A. The present study was aimed to evaluate the Vocabulary from English Textbook entitled MY NEXT WORDS. The purposes of this study were as follow: (1) To find out the total number of vocabulary words in MY NEXT WORDS English textbook for fourth-grade students; (2) To find out the categorization of vocabulary in MY NEXT WORDS English textbook for fourthgrade students. The design of this study was content analysis within qualitative approach. The instruments of this research where is the researcher herself. The writer analyzed and classified the sentence based on parts of speech. The data of this study from English textbook entitled MY NEXT WORDS for fourth-grade students’ elementary school. This study analyzes the total words are included in sections of English textbook of MY NEXT WORDS for fourth-grade Elementary school. This book has 173 sentences and 415 words. The categorization words are noun, verb, pronouns, and prepositions are dominant in English textbook MY NEXT WORDS. Based on that, the researcher has assumed that an elementary English teacher should use the fourth-grade English textbook from MY NEXT WORDS as their teaching resource.
