This research focused on Mulan as main female character and she struggle for rights as a woman. The character is brave and also struggles for equality in her society to get some rights as a man that she became an influential figure and inspired other women, especially among the Chinese. This is why the researcher is interested in analyzing Mulan as the main character by using the feminist approach. The researcher will examine deeper the portrayal of women empowerment through the representation of the main character by conducting the research under the title “The Portrayal of Women Empowerment in Mulan film (2020)”.
