Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind is one of the film that shows existentialism through it''s character. As a film that represents existentialism through it''s character, this research would explain how is existentialism represented by Clementine as one of the main character. This research would uses qualitative research with Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind as the data source, and using screenshots of scene and dialogues as the data. The data is analyzed through character and characterization theory to see how existentialist behavior represented by Clementine as one of the main character. The result of this research shows that Clementine shows her existentialist behavior through her action, dialogue, scenes. As an existentialist Clementine tend to realized the consequence of her action to break from the facticity. She tend to not give any attention to things that feels like imprison her into what society want her to be. Clementine has her own choice to break free from the facticity that bound her by considering herself as a human being that should exist before finding her own essence. Therefore by breaking her facticity, and act as a free human being, she also take the responsibility of being a rude, unaware of her own memories, not just for herself, but also for the human being in general.
