This research intends to analyze prejudice towards the main character in Does My Head Look Big in This? novel. In order to analyze prejudice, this research utilizes Gordon Allport’s The Nature of Prejudice theory and characterization theory. The method of this research was qualitative research method with a mimetic approach. The data were collected from narration and dialogue, while the data source was taken from the novel itself. The findings of this study show that prejudice towards Amal's character was found mostly in indirect characterization: action, speech, external appearance, and environment. In this case, speech became one of the tools that was frequently used to find out the prejudice experienced by Amal's character in the novel. The results of this study show that Amal as the main character in Does My Head Look Big in This? novel experienced three scales of prejudice, namely: antilocution, avoidance, and discrimination.
