In this research, the researcher analyzed one of the characters from the Divergent film. This research aims to find the hero’s journey that appears in Beatrice’s journey. The character was analyzed by using the theory of hero’s journey from Joseph Campbell and the characterization from Rimmon-Kenan. This research uses the qualitative method as a research method. The data were generated from the actions and dialogues from the film script and Beatrice struggled through her journey to becoming a hero. The findings revealed that Beatrice experienced all the journeys in eight stages from seventeen stages of the hero’s journey by Joseph Campbell. Based on the analysis, even not all the stages were depicted, Beatrice in film still shown the aspect of hero’s journey.
