This research analyzes the five supporting characters in The Devil All the Time (2020) film. These five supporting characters are Willard Russell, Roy Laferty, Carl Henderson, Preston Teagardin, and Deputy Lee. Although these characters are merely supporting characters, they are managed to impact the plot and the main character. Furthermore, the researcher uses Jung’s archetypes theory to analyze these five supporting characters. Especially the three main archetypes consist of anima, persona, and shadow. If an individual manages to live in harmony with these three main archetypes, another archetype will be found, which is the self. The result shows that not all of these supporting characters managed to find the self and possess the three main archetypes. Willard Russell, Roy Laferty, Carl Henderson, and Deputy Lee have possessed all three main archetypes and found the self. Meanwhile, Preston Teagardin possessed two out of three main archetypes and did not find the self.
