This study focused on online reading strategies used by the fourth semester students of English Language Education Department at Mulawarman University. The purposes of this study are to know the students category as the user of online reading strategy and the most preferable online reading strategy used by the fourth semester students. The design of this study was quantitative design. The sample of this study was 80 of fourth-semester English Language Department students in academic year 2022. The instrument of this study was an adopted questionnaire from Anderson (2003) called Online survey of Reading Strategy (OSORS). The result showed that 84.21% students are labeled as high strategy user, 13.15% students are labeled as moderate strategy user, and 2.63% students labeled as low strategy user. The most preferable online reading strategy used by the fourth semester student was problem solving strategies that has the highest mean score with 3.93. The researcher concluded that the fourth semester students was high strategy user with overall used of the strategies was considered high. It indicated they were aware of using online reading strategies when they read online and they use problem solving strategies frequently.
