This research purposes to find the types of figurative language and eveal the messages behind the BTS selected songs. In specific, the lyrics, was analyzed through Figurative Language theory from Perrine (1969) and Denotative-Connotative theory from Leech (1981). The data were generated from seven song lyrics from online websitemusixmatch.com. This research is classified as a descriptive qualitative method because the data consist of word, sentence are aken from the lyrics. The result of this research showed all of seven types of igurative language but the dominant only two types there are: simile and hyperbole. After knowing the types, related to the messages that conveyed in hose song lyrics, the researcher found that lyrics talked about try to be an open person in a relationship too, if you are sad, don't keep it alone, and there are wishes that cannot be conveyed to your partner. Therefore, this research can be implied the figurative language to attract the listener, and also to convey their deas. After analyzing the data, the researcher concluded that the song writer wants to give support, happiness to everyone in every moment in our life.
