The purposes of this research is to analyze the types of language style and factors that influence the language style in New York Minute film. Language style is a part of language variation in linguistics which each type depends on the participants, the purpose, the situation and condition of the time. The researcher uses the theory of Martin Joos that classifies five types of language style: frozen style, formal style, consultative style, casual style and intimate style. Further, this research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a stylistic approach. In collecting the data, the researcher watches the film, matches and checks between the text in the film and its script, underlines and codes the elements of language style, classifies and analyzes the data. In this film, the researcher finds 32 data types of language style in New York Minute film, there are formal style 6 data, consultative style 8 data, casual style 14 data, and intimate style 4 data. The researcher also finds the factors that influence use of language style in New York Minute film, there are the participants, the setting, the topic, and the function
