Hierarchy of Needs of Christopher Robin in Christopher Robin Film
Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory is one of the psychological theories that are useful for triggering the emergence of motivation in individuals to meet daily needs. This hierarchy shows that everyone has the motivation to fulfill their needs. In this case, this research aims to find and explain the hierarchy of needs of Robin's character in Christopher Robin film using Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory. In addition, this research used a qualitative method to fulfill the research objectives. The results of the research showed that there are five hierarchies of needs presented by Robin's character. First, the phychological need was indicated by the need for sleep. Second, the safety need was indicated by the freedom to fear. Third, the belonging and love need was indicated by the need to feel love. Fourth, the esteem need was indicated by the achievement and independence of Robin's character. The last is self-actualization need was indicated by the morality possessed by Robin's character. The Hierarchy's needs were depicted through the actions and speech of Robin's character.
