ANALISIS PENGUJIAN KINERJA WEB SERVER ATAS PENYEDIA LAYANAN ELASTIC CLOUD COMPUTE (EC2) PADA AMAZON WEB SERVICES (AWS)

Making a robust Web Server in terms of reliability, speed and performance on the Web Server becomes mandatory in handling all user / visitor requests. Many server options that can be used as a Web Server one of them Virtual Private Server (VPS).Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a server that is divided into sections that have their own operating system. VPS providers that become favorites and often the recommended VPS service options are Amazon Web Services. The advantage of both providers is to have Enterprise SSDs or the use of SSD (Solid State Drive) in its storage hardware. Various opinions come about the performance or performance of both providers about which VPS service is suitable to serve as a powerful Web Server.
Idea to perform a Load Testing test on Web Server Built on elastic c;oud compute and Amazon Web Services services, some testing parameters such as Throughput, Response Time, Latency and Resource Utilization are used as performance or performance ratings of both Web Server from Amazon Web Services. Testing also uses Performance Testing application from Apache JMeter.
Based on the results of testing on the Amazon Web Services with the type oftesting Load Testing and HTTP Request type, Web Server built on Elastic Cloud Compute service has the performance or performance of Web Server better than others.
