This study aims to identify class classification factors that lead to social gaps between the main characters named Rachel and Nick in the Crazy Rich Asians film. Karl Marx’s social class theory was applied to help identify levels in the social class system and factors that influence the occurrence of social class classification. This study was qualitative research by applying sociological approach. The data from this study were scenes and dialogues. In analyzing the data, the researcher found that class inequality was triggered by social status and economic strata based on classification factors. These factors were wealth, power, status, descent, and culture. After identifying those factors, the researcher concludes that this study indicated a representation of class classification among Rachel and Nick based on the differences of social class levels between them.
