STUDI TENTANG PEMBIBITAN SENGON BUTO Enterolobium cyclocarpum (Jacq.) Griseb DENGAN BERBAGAI SKARIFIKASI BENIH DAN PENGGUNAAN PEMBENAH TANAH SEBAGAI CAMPURAN MEDIA TANAH PASCA TAMBANG

Sengon buto plant is a pioneer species that has adaptive properties to post-coal mining land, can be propagated using seeds, with a generally low percentage of germination. This study aims to (1) examine the effect of soaking time using AC wastewater, various seedling media and various sterilizations on the germination of sengon buto seeds selected by seed weight > 0.9 g. (2) examine the best effect of the combination of treatment with soaking time, the use of various seedling media, and various methods of sterilizations the best seedling media on the germination of sengon buto seeds selected by seed weight > 0.9 g. (3) examine the effect of adding soil enhancer to nursery media from post-coal mining land on the growth of diameter and height of sengon buto in the nursery. 4) examine the best effect of adding soil enhancer to nursery media from post-coal mining soil on growth of diameter and height of sengon buto in the nursery. The research location is at the Silviculture Laboratory of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic and to analyze the chemical quality of water at the Water Quality Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries, Mulawarman University, for macro-nutrient analysis at the Soil Laboratory of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic. The research design method used a completely randomized design (CRD) with data analysis using ANOVA and Duncan's Advanced Test. Scarification of seeds, soaking time using AC waste water and sand seedling media significantly affected the germination of sengon buto seeds. Treatment with soil enhancer in the form of leaf compost of sengon buto on seedling media from post-coal mining land or overburden significantly affected the growth of diameter increment and height increment of sengon buto stem.
