The purpose of this study was to find out students experiences and difficulties when making project during CALL course. The design of this study was qualitative case study that aimed to interpret the phenomenon happened about students’ experience toward PACIFIC Model Through SAMR theory in CALL course. This study used semi-structured interview and students’ reflection as a document from six selected students to collect the data. Research participants were selected using purposive sampling with the criteria that had been prepared by the researcher. The researcher found that students enjoyed project learning although the process was hard for them. Students agreed to apply PACIFIC model in other courses as long as the courses did not contain so many theories to be explained by the lecturer because it would be hard for them to understand the lesson. Students also obtained some knowledge and skills that would help them in their professional life such as creativity, problem-solving, communication, self-confidence, discipline, collaboration, persistence, and leadership skills. Those skill related with the skill that 21st century era needed. Students also could share their opinions, ideas, and advices with their friends or lecturer when doing the model with this SAMR framework. Students also faced some challenges when doing this SAMR framework such as they had to decrease their sleeping time and had to find out proper facilities to be used for finishing the model. Therefore, it is suggested for lecturers to utilize PACIFIC Model Learning in their classroom practices as it can foster students’ chance to learning while doing.
