Many teachers or lecturers use online applications as learning media, in addition to Facebook, YouTube, and several other online media. An example of an educational or learning platform is Edmodo. Edmodo is an example of a social network that is similar to Facebook, which can help lecturers and students make teaching and learning activities easier. This research was conducted to identify the students' perceptions of the use of Edmodo through their experiences in using Edmodo in learning Prose. The research questions of this study are 1). What are the students' perceptions of using Edmodo in learning Prose? 2). How the use of Edmodo can improve students' learning outcomes in Prose subject?. This research includes quantitative research and data collection techniques using descriptive statistics. Research participants were 78 students in the fourth semester of the Prose class at the English Department of Mulawarman University. The research instrument used by the researcher was a closed-ended questionnaire using a five-Likert Scale. The results of the questionnaire and final grade data of students in the Prose course show that students receiving Edmodo in the Prose subject and Edmodo courses can improve student learning outcomes. Therefore, the conclusion of this study shows that most students have positive perceptions of the use of Edmodo in the Prose course. The use of Edmodo also affects increasing student learning outcomes at the final grades obtained.
