The purposes of this study were: (1) to know the students reading comprehension before and after digital stories, (2) To know the significant effect of students reading comprehension before and after using digital stories of the third semester students of Borneo College Samarinda. The design of this study was pre experimental design. The sample of this study was 30 students of the third semester students of Borneo College Samarinda in academic years 2019/2020. The data were obtained through the pre-test and post-test. The t-test was used to analyze the data. This study revealed the following finding. The results of this study showed the mean score of experimental class post-test is greater than the mean score of experimental class pre-test, the mean score of experimental class in post-test was 74.9, while the mean score of experimental class in pre-test was 62.2. It can be concluded in table that showed value of tc was 6.783 which was more than tt (1.699) tc > tt (6.783> 1.699) and tc was more than the α value of 0.05 (6.783 > 0.05). It can be concluded that there was a significant effect of student’s reading comprehension with digital stories. It meant that using digital stories was influenced by students’ reading comprehension. That effect between reading comprehension pre-test and reading comprehension post-test as much as t squared value was lower than t computed (1.699 < 6.783). It meant there was a significant effect between reading comprehension in pre-test and post-test for the third semester student’s Borneo College Samarinda in academic year 2019/2020.
