This study was conducted to investigate whether there is a significant difference in listening comprehension scores of the fourth semester English Department students provided with three different English accents: American, British, and African. The method used in this study was quantitative research which was designed in a comparative study. The population of the study was the fourth semester students of English Department, Mulawarman University. The sample was 75 students which was divided into 3 groups. They are American English accent, British English accent, and African English accent. The instrument of this study was listening comprehension test in the form of multiple-choice. Research findings showed that the mean score of the students’ listening comprehension among three groups was 82.77. It meant that the level of students’ listening comprehension of the fourth semester students was Excellent. One-Way ANOVA was used to analyzed the score between three groups. The result showed that F-value was 12.697 and it was higher than F-table 3.97. The F-table was obtained by consulting (Df1) = 1 and (Df2) = 73 was 3.97. It can be concluded that there was significant difference in listening comprehension scores of the fourth semester English Department students provided with three different English accents; American, British, and African. In other words, Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected.
