The purpose of this study to find how many punchlines that contain conventional implicature appear on Kevin Hart’s Stand Up Comedy. To find out what implied meaning are revealed from the punchlines of Kevin Hart Stand Up Comedy and also to find out what functions of the punchlines Kevin Hart Stand Up Comedy serve.and make other to understand if someone use it, and prepare to respond it. The method was used in this study was qualitative Descriptive is a description of what is listened to, seen, and thought about during the data collection process, while reflective notes were interpretations of these utterances. Researcher noted every punchline delivered by Kevin Hart that contain conventional implicature. This data collection process can be repeated times watching the Kevin Hart Laugh Stand Up Comedy show video Laugh at My Pain (2011) to get good and valid results. The result of the study showed that In the Kevin Hart’s stand up comedy, the researcher found that there are twenty punchlines. The researcher only uses 4 punchlines as an examples and rest of it is on the appendix. The meaning conventional implicature of Kevin Hart’s stand up comedy refers to the phenomenon of society and satirical remarks. The functions of Kevin Hart’s stand up comedy refers to the phenomenon of society and satirical remarks.
