EFL Pre-service Teacher's Experience in the Process of Implementing DDD-E Model in Learning Multimedia
The purpose of this study was to find out how EFL pre-service teacher’s experice at Mulawarman University in the process of implementing DDD-E Model in learning multimedia at Computer Application class. The design of this study was qualitative single case study that aimed to interpret the phenomenon happened about the experince of EFL pre-service teacher in the process implementing DDD-E Model in designing learning multimedia. This study used semi-structured interview and EFL pre-service teacher’s reflection as a document from one selected student to collect the data. Participant of the study was selected using purposive sampling with the criteria that had been prepared by the researcher. The finding showed that EFL pre-service teacher more optimist with the implementation of DDD-E Model to design their learning multimedia. EFL pre-service teacher also obtained some knowledge and skills that would help them in their professional life such as discipline, problem-solving, precision, and creativity. Those skill help them in making a good planning and good execution that is related with the skill that 21st century era teacher needed. EFL pre-service teacher also faced some challenges when doing this project such as lack of inspiration and references. This suggests that DDD-E Model can be used as alternative framework in teaching English.
