Sub-province of kutai west represent sub-province the bloosom of previus government that is government of sub-province of kutai. Sub-province of kutai west have town mother to in formed sendawar with is equal to some town and sub-province in east Kalimantan. a borigin of sub-province of kutai alone represent tribe citizen of dayak coming from river pate upstream of mahakam. Dwelling river tepian of mahakam divided to the some etnis.
The problem of this research is how custom ceremony of Kuangkey at tribe of Dayak countryside Benuaq Tunjung of Linggang Amer district of sub-province Linggang Bigung of Kutai West.
Target of writing to know custom ceremony of Kuangkey at tribe of Dayak Benuaq Tunjung, and artistic potency of existing culture of west in kutai and to know and recognize the role of cultural and artistic wisata of tribe of Dayak Benuaq Tunjung, in tourism of Kalimantan east in general and at sub-province of kutai west specially.
To analyse obtained by data the unter chose field and in this research hence writer use descriptive research method qualitative by interactive in the case of recognition of custom ceremony of kuangkey tribe of Dayak Benuaq Tunjung. Sub-province of kutai west as one of the existing region of east Kalimantan diprovinsi having hereditary cultural heritage of ancestors which enough amaze especially ist folk art which owned by tribe of Dayak Benuaq Tunjung. All outsider from outside start many coming to see to near from properties of area cultural and art.
Result of research to instruct in recognition of tribe culture and art Dayak Benuaq Tunjung, especially regarding custom ceremony of kuangkey this need to be given by opportunity to be introduced to visitor society and as of is continuation of area culture and art which must always preserve and introduced by world entire. So that writer suggest that custom ceremony of Kuangkey have to be paid attention and continue to preserve so that to the fore it him countinue to make everlasting and can be witnessed by router generation and know culture of Dayak specially Benuaq Dayak.
