This study focused on correlation between teacher’s disposition and students’ English achievement at the eight grade students of SMPN 029 samarinda. The purpose of this study was to find out the correlation between teacher’s disposition and students’ English achievement at the eight grade students of SMPN 029 Samarinda in the academic year of 2015/2016. The population consisted of 8 classes with the total of the students are 216 students. The researcher choose one of the English teacher and took all the class he taught. They are VIII F, VIII G, and VIII H. the sample of this study was 65 students. The design of this research was correlation method. In collecting the data, the researcher gave the questionnaire and the researcher taken students’ English achievement from their first and second daily test. The result was analyzed by using the formula Pearson Product Moment to find the correlation. To find out the significance of the correlation between teacher’s disposition and students’ English achievement, T-test was administered. The result of the study showed that there was a significant correlation between Teacher’s Disposition and Students’ English Achievement at the Eight Grade Students of SMPN 029 Samarinda in the academic year of 2015/2016. In other words, if the Teacher’s Disposition is high, the students’ English achievement is better.
