This research is aimed at analyze the effect of Non Performing Loan and the growth rate of gross domestic product (GDP) on profitability at National Private Foreign-Exchange Commercial Bank (BUSN) in Indonesia. The population in this research were 47 National Private Foreign-Exchange Commercial Bank (BUSN) in Indonesia period 2010 to 2014 with a sample of 23 banks. This research used multiple linear regression analysis with significant alpha 0.05. The data in this research was obtained from bank financial statements available in Bank Indonesia and data of GDP was obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics for 2010-2014 period. The result of the research shows that Non Performing Loan has no significant positive effect on profitability, while the growth rate of gross domestic product has a significant positive effect on profitability.
